Image a whole weekend surrounded by 50 Blues dance addicts, in the middle of nowhere, in the last weekend before Christmas.
No reason to go anywhere for three days, just spend time with like minded people, make music, chill and dance.
From December 19-22 we have the second Blues Retreat NL. A participants driven DIY camp where nothing is obliged, and everything is possible, as long as you initiate it yourself.
In the beautiful province of North Holland, a little above Amsterdam, we remain in a luxurious residence of The Bietenhaven (The Beet Harbor). Although wifi is present, we try to stay bit off line. Surrounded by farm fields, canals and windmills we can enjoy Blues and each other without too much distraction.

P.S. we are aware of the origin and religious meaning of Christmas. And even we fully respect those, this is not a religious event and there will be no religious activities. Of course you may pray before your meal, to whomever. But the focus is on the cultural side and vibe of this time of the year, not the religious meaning behind it. This is an all inclusive event, no matter your (lack of) religion, gender, etnicity, sexual orientation, age, lifestyle, you name it, you are as welcome as everyone else.
